Reimbursement help
Getting reimbursed after your order
You paid for your order upfront and would like to claim reimbursement from French public health insurance (AMO) and your complementary insurer (AMC). Here is the full process — expect two to four weeks between mailing the claim and the credit landing on your account.
The 4-step process
- 1
Download your documents
From your account, section "My documents", download the invoice, the care claim slip (feuille de soins) and your prescription (if you sent it as a photo/PDF). These three documents make up the file your CPAM expects.
- 2
Sign the care claim slip
Print the care claim slip (Cerfa n° 12541*04 / S3126) and sign the "insured" panel at the bottom. Our optician has already applied their electronic signature to the document.
- 3
Mail the bundle to your CPAM
Post to your local Caisse primaire d'assurance maladie: the signed care claim slip, your original prescription (or a certified copy), and the paid invoice. Your complementary insurer receives the data automatically via the Noémie feed once CPAM processes it.
- 4
Receive your reimbursements
CPAM pays the public share (typically 60 % of the LPP reimbursement base for an adult) within 2 to 3 weeks. Your complementary insurer then tops up according to your policy. Keep your paperwork for two years.
Ready to download your documents?
All your documents are collected in your account. You can re-download them at any time.

How long does reimbursement take?
On average 2 to 3 weeks after CPAM receives your file, plus a few days for the complementary top-up from your insurer.
Can I use tiers payant?
Not yet on our site: online tiers payant for prescription eyewear is coming in a later platform step. Until then you pay in full and claim afterwards using the process above.
How long is my prescription valid?
Under Décret 2020-1547: 5 years for adults over 42, 3 years for 16 to 42, 1 year for children under 16. We verify this window at checkout.
Who should I contact for a serious side effect?
To report an adverse event related to a medical device (glasses, contact lenses, care solutions), use the French national portal at signalement.social-sante.gouv.fr. Please also contact our customer service so we can support you.
The information above is general guidance. Actual reimbursement rates and procedures depend on your public insurance regime and your complementary insurance contract. Consult your CPAM and complementary insurer for any specific situation.
